Canon PhotoMarathon Returns to Singapore This September with up to $47,000 Prize Pool

Canon Singapore Pte. Ltd. is thrilled to announce the return of the Canon PhotoMarathon, set to light up the streets of Singapore once again. After a five-year hiatus, this much-anticipated event will take place on September 28, 2024, inviting photographers of all ages and skill levels to capture the essence of Singapore through their lenses.

This year’s event, themed “Every Lens, Every Age,” celebrates diversity and creativity in photography. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or an enthusiastic beginner, Canon PhotoMarathon offers a dynamic platform to showcase your unique perspective. Participants will face two-hour submission windows for each theme, making for a fast-paced and exhilarating competition that encourages creative thinking and rapid execution.

The competition boasts an impressive prize pool worth up to $47,000. In the Open Category, the grand prize winner will receive the highly sought-after EOS R6 Mark II Kit along with a PIXMA TS8370a printer, valued at over $4,000. Other top winners will also be rewarded with Canon’s latest gear, fueling their passion for photography.

For students, the top prize in the Student Category is an EOS R8 Kit paired with a PIXMA E4570 printer, worth more than $2,500. Second and third place winners will also take home valuable equipment to support their creative endeavors.

Canon PhotoMarathon 2024 isn’t just a competition—it’s a celebration of the photography community. It provides a wonderful opportunity for photographers to reconnect, share their passion, and inspire one another. The event underscores the essence of photography: preserving moments and memories.
