Masood Boomgaard’s Hilarious Alter Ego, Self-Help Singh, Returns to Singapore This November

Masood Boomgaard brings his zany alter ego, Self-Help Singh, back to Singapore on November 3rd, 2024. The highly anticipated live show will take place at the Ho Bee Auditorium, promising an evening of uproarious comedy blended with a unique twist on motivational speaking.

Tickets for the show will first be available during a pre-sale for LAMC Productions, LA Comedy Live, and 1880 Club members on August 14 at 12 PM. General ticket sales will open on August 16 at 12 PM through Sistic outlets and their website.

Self-Help Singh is the brainchild of international comedian Masood Boomgaard, who describes the character as a comedic alternative life coach and de-motivational speaker. The creation of Self-Help Singh came about in a rather unconventional way—after Boomgaard experienced a vision following a mishap involving bad lamb vindaloo and a hasty trip to the bathroom. Since then, Self-Help Singh has taken on a life of his own, dispensing “commonsense wisdom” and hilarious de-motivational teachings to millions online.

The Self-Help Singh live show is a must-see event that combines stand-up comedy, parody, and motivational speaking in a way that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. Boomgaard has performed as Self-Help Singh in major cities around the world, including New York, London, and Dubai, and even in his father’s garage during the lockdown. Currently residing in South Africa with his cat, Boomgaard continues to delight audiences with his unique brand of humor.

With over 12 million likes and more than a million followers on TikTok, Boomgaard’s videos, featuring Self-Help Singh, have amassed more than 172 million views, demonstrating his global appeal and the widespread popularity of his comedic persona.
