What if the snacks we indulge in are snackable ‘moods’? Not just that, they are also packed full of stuff that is good for you and your body.
Hue, a delightfully snackable ‘moods’ brand has arrived in Singapore.
Mood-driven and carefully created to elevate emotional wellness, Hue is powered by science-backed ingredients which are claimed to be able to lift spirits and perk you up throughout the day. Infused with natural ingredients like Tiger Milk Mushroom, Wild Alaskan Fish Oil, Moringa Leaf, and more, Hue comes in delightful forms like normal candies that taste good while making you feel good.
As moods come in all forms and varieties, so does Hue. Centred around four positive feelings – Calming, Energising, Fulfilling, and Uplifting – Hue offers snacks carefully created to elevate emotional wellness:
“Amidst the hustle of our fast-paced lives, we are bound to feel stressed, drained, or uninspired, with self-care often being overlooked. Hue is here to offer a vibrant and fun way for Singaporeans to change that through snackable ‘moods’ that give them the boost they need. Thoughtfully designed to be perfectly bite-sized, Hue provides an enjoyable experience that can be easily incorporated into any moment and is suitable for all lifestyles,” shared Shaneika Ong, Brand Lead.
“Partnering with leading laboratories and research facilities across the globe to conduct extensive studies on ingredients commonly used in traditional wellness remedies, we uncovered their powerful abilities to regulate moods. We are delighted to be the first in Singapore to harness the benefits of these carefully selected ingredients to offer the very first snackable ‘moods’.”
Hue is infused with ingredients like Tiger Milk Mushroom, a valuable traditional medicine in Southeast Asia, said to be commonly used to improve vitality and alertness. Hue’s research is said to reveal its potential ability to uplift your mood and may also boost dopamine levels.
Another ingredient incorporated into Hue is Screw Pine, more commonly known as pandan leaf, which is said to be able to potentially reduce cortisol gene expression and help relieve fear and anxiety, helping to soothe anxious minds and promote peace. The Moringa Leaf, which features in Ayurvedic medicine, was also chosen for its said potential ability to increase serotonin expression, helping to invoke feelings of relaxation and happiness.
Fitting seamlessly into daily life, Hue’s snacks come in three forms – chew, burst, and pop.
Bursting with all-natural goodness, chews are reminiscent of gummies but not quite the same, with individually-wrapped candy capsules offering unmatched convenience as a perfect pick-me-up anytime, anywhere.
We tried both the orange ones with Wild Alaska Fish Oil and the purple ones with Tiger Milk Mushroom. They taste like regular soft chew candies on the outside, but feature a burst of liquid when you bite into it. We love the taste of the latter, while the former, turns out to be more palatable and less fishy than expected.
This is a good way to get your little ones to enjoy eating more fish oil.
Meanwhile, bursts are meant to be savoured – be sure to set aside time and slow down to enjoy each scoop of goodness as you take a moment to indulge in mood-boosting Kyoho grape, creamy pistachio, or coconut flavoured pearls.
We tried all three flavours and enjoyed the pearls popping. If you love those flavoured bubble tea pearls, you will love these two and they are packed with natural ingredients that are good for your mood.
Hue Pop comes in pocket-sized packs filled with mini beads of delight that promise a refreshing sensation with each and every bite. They look and taste like mouth freshener candies but with a twist in the ingredients.
Whoever you are, whatever mood you need, there’s a Hue for you.
For go-getters in need of some motivation to power through an intimidating to-do list, the Energising Hue will help you seize the day, while those looking for warmth and comfort can rely on the Fulfilling Hue. To celebrate wins with a treat, there’s no better Hue than Uplifting, and when you’re all set for some downtime, Calming Hue can be soothing company, invoking a sense of mindful peace and relaxation.
Hue is now available for purchase via the official website.
Hue is also partnering with Limitless, a non-profit organisation founded to support youth mental wellness in Singapore. A portion of sales from Hue will be donated to Limitless, helping to fund its initiatives and programs.
