The world has just gotten a little smaller with AirAsia X’s announcement of its newest destination – Nairobi, Kenya. This milestone marks the low-cost carrier’s first on the African continent, known for its rich history, culture and wildlife. With a flight time of approximately 9 hours from Kuala Lumpur’s KLIA to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, this exciting new spot opens up many thrilling possibilities such as wildlife safaris that bring you up close to the BIG 5 – lions, leopards, African buffalos, elephants, and rhinoceros in their natural environment, and experiencing a few days in a Maasai tribal village.
