Crunchyroll, the ultimate destination for anime fans, is unveiling a new brand identity today. This fresh look, feel, and sound aim to reflect the joy anime brings to its fans, embracing an ethos of fun and celebration.
Crunchyroll continues to deliver anime to fans in every imaginable way, including streaming, theatrical releases, events, games, music, news, consumer products, collectibles, and more. Central to Crunchyroll’s growth has been its dedication to connecting fans and creators, celebrating their shared passions.
Starting July 25 at San Diego Comic-Con, Crunchyroll’s updated and recharged brand identity will be introduced across all fan touchpoints over the next year.
Fans will first experience the new Crunchyroll look and feel at San Diego Comic-Con, where the brand evolution will be showcased at the Rady Shell concert venue. The Crunchyroll Concert Series will feature J-Pop sensation LiSA, hyperpop genius Alice Longyu Gao, and the “One Piece 25th Anniversary: Symphonic Voyage” concert in collaboration with Toei Animation.
Inside and outside the Convention Center, fans will have the chance to embrace the new brand identity. A limited and fan-forward streetwear collection inspired by the refreshed Crunchyroll, designed by 2024 CFDA Fashion Fund finalist Sebastian Ami, will be available for fans to pick up.
The development of the new brand identity package was led by Crunchyroll’s Markus Gerdemann (Senior Vice President, Marketing) and Norman Rabinovich (Vice President, Creative Services).
Crunchyroll offers fans the ultimate anime experience, boasting the world’s largest dedicated anime streaming library with 50,000 episodes and over 25,000 hours of anime series, music, and films. The platform also provides experiences across events, theatrical releases, gaming, ecommerce, and more.
