Kallang Tennis Hub Hosts World-Class Tennis as the Hologic WTA Tour Arrives in Singapore

Kallang Alive Sport Management (KASM) is thrilled to announce that world-class tennis action is set to return to Singapore with the prestigious Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) 250 tournament. KASM has secured the rights to host this premier event for the next three years, from 2025 to 2027, adding a significant highlight to the annual international sporting events at the Singapore Sports Hub.

The 2025 WTA 250 tournament will take place during the week of 27 January at the newly opened Kallang Tennis Hub, Singapore’s first international tournament-ready indoor tennis facility. This event is part of the 2025 Hologic WTA Tour calendar, which features over 50 tournaments across 26 countries and regions, showcasing top-tier women’s tennis talent from around the globe.

A Legacy of International Tennis in Singapore

Singapore has a rich history of hosting major tennis events. The WTA Finals (2014-2018) marked the first international tennis tournament at the Singapore Sports Hub, drawing global attention. This was followed by the ATP Singapore Open, an ATP 250 tournament, held at the OCBC Arena in 2021. The addition of the WTA 250 tournament at the Kallang Tennis Hub underscores Singapore’s growing reputation as a premier destination for international tennis.

The Kallang Tennis Hub: A Premier Venue

Opened to the public in April 2024, the Kallang Tennis Hub is a state-of-the-art facility designed to host international tennis events. It recently served as the venue for the National School Games Tennis ‘A’ Division Boys and Girls Finals and the Asian Tennis Federation 12&U Team Competition. The hub’s advanced infrastructure and world-class amenities make it an ideal location for the WTA 250 tournament, promising an exceptional experience for players and fans alike.

Anticipation Builds for 2025

As anticipation builds for the 2025 WTA 250 tournament, Singapore is set to welcome tennis enthusiasts from around the world. The event will not only highlight top-tier women’s tennis but also boost the local sports scene and contribute to Singapore’s status as a global sports hub.
