In celebration of Singapore’s 59th birthday, the Singapore Flyer is unveiling a series of special events and promotions, promising a celebration like no other. Headlining the festivities is the first-ever overnight Moonlight Flight, complemented by a waterfront night market and a lucky draw for tickets to premium experiences and dining vouchers.
For the first time, the Singapore Flyer will operate non-stop overnight from 11 PM on 9 August to 8 AM on 10 August. Guests can immerse themselves in the National Day celebrations after hours and enjoy a magical night honoring the nation. At only $25, almost half the regular price of $40, the ticket includes a 30-minute flight on the giant observation wheel and admission to Time Capsule, an immersive and multisensory attraction that spans two levels, showcasing Singapore’s storied past, present, and future.
As a special treat, Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents born in August can enjoy free entry to the Moonlight Flight with every paying guest. They can simply present a valid photo identification card with their date of birth upon entry. The discounted tickets can be purchased through Singapore Flyer’s website, ticketing kiosk, and the WeChat Mini Programme.
From 7 to 11 August, the night market “Street Eats Under the Stars” will light up the Singapore Flyer grounds with a full array of F&B offerings and casual seating facilities over the National Day long weekend. Located at the Waterfront Promenade beside the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix race track, guests can expect to savor delectable night market fare alongside views of iconic landmarks such as Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay, a testament to Singapore’s remarkable progress.
“Street Eats Under the Stars” is open from 5 PM to 11 PM on 7, 8, 10, and 11 August, and from 5 PM on 9 August to 3 AM on 10 August. Admission is free.
Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to win exceptional prizes by simply scanning a QR code at “Street Eats Under the Stars.” Prizes include tickets to Singapore Flyer’s premium experiences – 165 Sky Dining by Singapore Flyer, Premium Champagne Experience, and Singapore Sling Experience – and dining vouchers for Sky View Pavilion, renowned for its exquisite Cantonese dishes.
Singapore Residents are invited to enjoy the exclusive Singapore Residents’ National Day Special from 9 August to 8 September, offering two Singapore Flyer + Time Capsule tickets at $59 instead of the regular price of $80. Tickets can be purchased through Singapore Flyer’s website, ticketing counter, and kiosk, as well as the WeChat Mini Programme.
Additionally, guests dining with 165 Sky Dining by Singapore Flyer on 9 August can indulge in a Singapore Sling cocktail add-on for a special price of $5.90, before GST and service charge.
