Renowned artist, producer, and DJ Peggy Gou has unveiled her long-awaited debut album, ‘I Hear You,’ through XL Recordings. This ten-track album is the result of years of dedication from the Korean-born artist, who has earned a unique reputation as both an underground icon and a global sensation. Gou’s unwavering vision has propelled her to become one of the most sought-after electronic music artists and DJs worldwide.
To celebrate the release of ‘I Hear You,’ XL Recordings has teamed up with Choice Cuts Pizza & Records in Singapore for an exclusive album launch event. Fans can purchase a limited edition vinyl copy of the album, along with a poster and postcard, while supplies last.
‘I Hear You’ features standout singles such as “Lobster Telephone,” a prime example of the balmy, technicolor house music for which Gou is globally renowned. The album also includes the 2023 chart-topping hit “(It Goes Like) Nanana,” her collaboration with Lenny Kravitz, “I Believe in Love Again,” and the festival anthem “1+1=11,” which comes with a music video directed by Olafur Eliasson.
Having performed to over a million people in 2023, Peggy Gou is set for a series of high-profile appearances in 2024, including Glastonbury, Coachella, and Primavera festivals. She will also return to Asia in July to headline major festivals such as the Good Vibes Festival in Genting, Malaysia, the 10th Anniversary edition of We The Fest in Jakarta, Indonesia, and a headline show at Marquee Singapore.
