Singapore Cable Car and Hello Kitty Celebrate 50th Birthdays with Exclusive Experience

Get ready for an exciting June holiday adventure as the Singapore Cable Car partners with Hello Kitty for a unique and exclusive birthday celebration. From June 1 to December 31, 2024, visitors can enjoy riding in specially themed Hello Kitty cable car cabins along the Mount Faber Line, from Mount Faber Peak to Sentosa. This vibrant, heart- and cake-themed spectacle is the only one of its kind in Southeast Asia, celebrating both the 50th anniversaries of Hello Kitty and the Singapore Cable Car.

The cabins are adorned with colorful designs featuring Hello Kitty, her companion Dear Daniel, her sister Mimmy, and their parents, providing an unforgettable ride. At Mount Faber Peak, special photo spots allow visitors to capture memorable moments, adding to the fun and excitement of the experience.

One of the highlights is a 2-metre-tall Hello Kitty sculpture, dressed in a striking gold outfit to commemorate the Golden Jubilee. This larger-than-life figure greets visitors as they embark on their cable car journey, enhancing the celebratory atmosphere. Additionally, vintage cable car cabins from the first and third generations, decorated with Hello Kitty designs, offer more photo opportunities as part of the 50th-anniversary festivities.

Tickets for the Singapore Cable Car are priced at S for adults and S for children aged 4 to 12, covering a round-trip on both the Mount Faber and Sentosa Lines. For an extra S, visitors can upgrade to unlimited rides for a day, experiencing all five unique Hello Kitty cable car cabins. Children aged 3 and below ride for free.

Since its launch in 1974, the Singapore Cable Car has become one of the nation’s most iconic attractions, delighting over 60 million visitors with breathtaking views between Mount Faber Peak and Sentosa. The 50th-anniversary celebrations, kicked off in 2023, continue throughout 2024 with an exciting lineup of activities at Mount Faber Peak, making this a landmark year for the beloved attraction.

Tickets are available at counters and through the MFLG website.
