Step into a blooming wonderland at Jewel Changi Airport as it hosts the highly anticipated floral festival, Jewel Blooms. Running from today until August 11, Jewel Blooms: What A Feelin5 offers an expanded and immersive floral experience, celebrating Jewel’s 5th anniversary. This year’s festival features six key floral installations, each designed to evoke emotions such as happiness, peace, love, adventure, and passion.
Canopy Park is transformed into a vibrant display of emotions through flowers, featuring over 15,000 blooms, some with unique kinetic movements, interactive elements, enchanting scents, and soothing music. For the first time in Southeast Asia, Japanese floral artist Megumi Shinozaki presents a large-scale floral artwork made of hybrid starchis, exclusively grown in Japan.
Families can enjoy a unique experience this June school holiday with Changi Experience Studio’s ‘An Enchanted Night at the Airport’ camp. This magical sleepover includes a garden adventure, quests, and a floral resin workshop.
Visitors can explore a sunflower maze bursting with over 3,000 blooms and 70 towering sunflowers at the Hedge Maze: A Maze of Sunshine. For a whimsical touch, the Mirror Maze: Tranquil Blossoms features 1,000 cascading wisterias creating a mesmerizing kaleidoscope effect. The Topiary Walk: Bloomventure includes an abandoned jeep and giant animatronic Venus fly-traps, adding a rustic touch. Romance fills the air at Foggy Bowls: Blooming in Love, with lighted kinetic flowers and butterflies enhancing the enchanting atmosphere. The Source Pool: Swimming in Harmony offers serenity with nine larger-than-life goldfishes swimming among live water plants in a misty pond.
The grand spectacle, Petal Garden: Super Blooms by Megumi Shinozaki, is inspired by California’s superbloom phenomenon. This stunning installation features 10,000 bundles of hybrid starchis and preserved hydrangeas from Japan, arranged to create a vibrant mix of wildflowers across two 2.8-meter-tall mountain structures. On the festival’s last day, these blooms will be re-gifted to ticketholders, extending the life of the flowers beyond the event.
The Jewel Blooms Marketplace, running from May 31 to June 9, offers plant enthusiasts and creative souls a chance to explore 13 unique stores featuring plants, handmade crochet flowers, and crafts. The Jewel Plant Swap on June 1 provides a fun platform to exchange greenery with fellow plant lovers.
During the festival, spend a minimum of S$250 on a MasterCard (maximum three same-day receipts) to redeem a LEGO Flower worth S$21.90. UOB cardholders can receive a S$10 Jewel Gift Voucher with a minimum spend of S$150 (maximum three same-day receipts).
This June, Changi Experience Studio’s ‘An Enchanted Night at the Airport’ camp returns with a new garden theme. Families can embark on the ‘Be an Airport Horticulturist’ quest, craft floral resin keepsakes, and enjoy interactive games and shows in the Changi Experience Studio. The overnight camp features a whimsical garden-themed campsite, offering a magical sleepover experience without the usual outdoor discomforts.
This exciting program includes tickets to the Jewel Blooms: What A Feelin5 event and a box of bespoke Changi signature tea blend to take home.
