The World’s 50 Best Restaurants Reveals 51-100 List for 2024

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, has unveiled the eagerly anticipated list of restaurants ranked from No. 51 to No. 100 for 2024. This announcement precedes the main awards ceremony set to take place in Las Vegas on June 5.

Compiled from the votes of 1,080 gastronomic experts, including food journalists, chefs, and seasoned food enthusiasts, the list spans six continents, showcasing the global diversity of culinary excellence. The full list of the top 50 will be revealed live on stage in Las Vegas two weeks from today.

Highlights from the 51-100 List

  • Global Reach: The list includes 12 new entries from 11 different cities, ranging from Berlin and Mumbai to Seoul and Sydney.
  • Geographic Diversity: Restaurants from 23 territories across six continents are featured, with notable entries from Asia, Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania.
  • Top New Entry: Atelier Moessmer Norbert Niederkofler in Brunico, Italy, makes the highest new entry at No. 52.

European Entries

Europe shines with six new entries, including:

  • Atelier Moessmer Norbert Niederkofler (No. 52) in Brunico, Italy
  • Coda (No. 62) in Berlin, Germany
  • Bozar (No. 63) in Brussels, Belgium
  • Le Doyenné (No. 70) in Saint-Vrain, France
  • Restaurant Jan (No. 84) in Munich, Germany
  • Mountain (No. 94) in London, UK

France leads with four additional restaurants:

  • Flocons de Sel (No. 76) in Megève
  • La Grenouillère (No. 77) in La Madelaine-sous-Montreuil
  • Alléno Paris Au Pavillon Ledoyen (No. 79) in Paris
  • Ceto (No. 85) in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin

The UK also sees strong representation with Brat (No. 65), The Clove Club (No. 80), Lyle’s (No. 87), and Core by Clare Smyth (No. 97).

Asian Highlights

Asia boasts 13 entries, with new additions such as:

  • Masque (No. 78) in Mumbai
  • Mosu (No. 86) and Onjium (No. 96) in Seoul
  • Indian Accent (No. 89) in New Delhi

Japan features prominently with:

  • Narisawa (No. 56) in Tokyo
  • La Cime (No. 66) in Osaka
  • Sazenka (No. 93) in Tokyo

Singapore is represented by Burnt Ends (No. 68), Labyrinth (No. 92), and Meta (No. 95).

North and South America

North America continues to thrive with new entries like:

  • Smyth (No. 90) in Chicago
  • Fauna (No. 100) in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico

Mexico also sees Guadalajara’s Alcalde (No. 67) and Mexico City’s Sud 777 (No. 82) on the list. The US features Le Bernardin (No. 71) and Cosme (No. 99) in New York.

South America has five entries, including:

  • Leo (No. 53) in Bogotá
  • Mérito (No. 55) in Lima
  • Mil (No. 73) in Cusco
  • Lasai (No. 58) in Rio de Janeiro
  • Nuema (No. 61) in Quito

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list is voted on by 1,080 industry experts from the World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, with an equal gender split across 27 regions. Deloitte independently verifies the voting process, ensuring integrity and authenticity.

Awards Ceremony

The 2024 awards ceremony will be held in Las Vegas on June 5 and streamed live on the 50 Best Facebook and YouTube channels. Follow the announcement live, with the broadcast starting at 20:25 Las Vegas time (04:25 UK time).

This year’s programme features a series of cornerstone events that have become integral to the 50 Best Restaurants celebrations. Highlights include the thought-leadership forum #50BestTalks, the 50 Best Signature Sessions—a series of collaborative dining events open to the public, and a Chefs’ Feast showcasing the finest dining in Las Vegas. The festivities will culminate in the awards ceremony and countdown, followed by the official 50 Best Closing Party.
