Vietjet Now Has a Direct Flight from Hanoi to Hiroshima

Vietjet has soared to new heights by inaugurating the sole direct flight between Hanoi and the enchanting city of Hiroshima in Japan. This milestone marks the airline’s eighth route connecting Vietnam and Japan, establishing itself as the go-to carrier for seamless travel between the two nations.

The launch ceremony, attended by dignitaries including Consul General of Vietnam in Fukuoka, Vu Chi Mai, and Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture, Yuzaki Hidehiko, showcased the collaborative efforts between Vietjet, Hiroshima International Airport, and governmental representatives to bring this direct air link to fruition. Passengers on the inaugural flight were greeted with delightful souvenirs from both Vietjet and Hiroshima Airport, setting the tone for a memorable journey ahead.

Operating twice weekly return flights on Thursdays and Sundays, the Hanoi-Hiroshima route boasts a convenient travel time of approximately four hours and 30 minutes per leg, providing travelers with unparalleled access to these vibrant destinations.

To celebrate the launch, Vietjet is offering budget-friendly tickets starting from just USD0/one-way (exclusive of taxes and fees) on their mobile app or official website, applicable not only to the new route but also to Vietjet’s other international destinations. Travel enthusiasts can seize this opportunity every Friday, with travel dates available until December 31, 2024, excluding holidays and peak seasons.

Hanoi, renowned as the heart of Vietnam, beckons with its rich cultural tapestry, bustling economic landscape, and delectable culinary delights. From here, travelers can effortlessly explore other destinations across Vietnam and the Asia Pacific region, courtesy of Vietjet’s expansive flight network. Meanwhile, Hiroshima, nestled in the southwestern region of Japan, boasts UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the Itsukushima Shrine, along with a plethora of other renowned attractions.

Passengers flying with Vietjet can indulge in a culinary journey onboard, savoring authentic Vietnamese dishes like Pho and Banh mi, alongside international fare, served by attentive cabin crews aboard a modern, eco-friendly fleet. Plus, with complimentary Sky Care insurance, travelers can embark on their journeys with peace of mind, knowing that their well-being is prioritized every step of the way.
