StarHub announces the launch of eSIM, an electronic SIM card option available to users purchasing a Star Plan. This move not only simplifies connectivity but also caters to the evolving needs of modern consumers.
StarHub’s introduction of eSIM technology means that customers can now enjoy greater flexibility without compromising on security. With eSIM, the hassle of physically swapping SIM cards becomes a thing of the past, reducing the risks associated with lost, stolen, or tampered cards. For individuals juggling work and personal lines or frequent travelers navigating different network providers, eSIM offers the convenience of seamlessly switching between multiple networks on a single device.
StarHub is committed to providing a seamless and secure purchasing experience for its customers. Unlike traditional methods that involve receiving QR codes from third-party platforms, StarHub users can download and activate their eSIMs directly from StarHub’s platform upon purchase. This not only streamlines the process, cutting down on delivery time for physical cards, but also ensures the integrity and security of customers’ data.
With Star Plan, customers have the freedom to purchase a device of their choice and enjoy the benefits of Singapore’s most awarded network, all without the constraints of a traditional contract. Additionally, customers can opt for installment payments over 12 or 24 months, with zero percent interest fees when they acquire a device from StarHub alongside their Star Plan.
Star Plans are available for purchase on StarHub’s app or website.
