Launching on April 15, 2024, the Shanghai Express tours will be available to international travelers with layovers exceeding eight hours at Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG). Whether you’re eligible for China’s 72/144-hour visa-free transit policy or holding a 24-hour temporary entry permit issued by the airport border inspection, you can embark on these immersive city tours.

Upon arrival at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, travelers can register for the Shanghai Express tours at the Trip.com Group currency exchange counter on Island A in Terminal 2’s Departure Hall. With professional guides available to assist with registration, travelers can choose from various tour timings, each accommodating a maximum of ten participants and lasting five to six hours.

The Shanghai Express tours offer an array of itineraries curated to showcase the best of Shanghai’s past, present, and future. From classic highlights like the historic Yu Garden and iconic Bund skyline to romantic strolls along the charming Wukang Road, each tour promises an immersive experience led by English-speaking guides.
