Singlife Empowers Financial Freedom at Seedly Personal Finance Festival 2024

Singlife is gearing up to inspire attendees at the Seedly Personal Finance Festival (PFF) 2024 with its message of “A Better Way to Financial Freedom.” Set to take place on April 6 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, this event aims to equip consumers with the knowledge and tools to take charge of their financial futures confidently.

Recognizing the critical importance of early financial planning, particularly for long-term care, Singlife is introducing new Add-on Benefits for its Singlife CareShield Standard and Plus plans. These enhancements aim to provide greater financial security to Singaporeans, aligning with Singlife’s commitment to supporting national healthcare priorities and empowering individuals to navigate financial challenges effectively.

At the festival, Singlife will showcase its innovative offerings at the creatively named “#SinglifeDreamTrain” booth. Modeled after an MRT cabin, the booth symbolizes inclusivity and accessibility, perfectly encapsulating Seedly PFF 2024’s theme of “Singapore Neighbourhood.” Attendees will have the chance to engage in an interactive game titled “Next Station: Financial Freedom,” inspired by Singlife CareShield and the 2023 Financial Freedom Index (FFI).

Based on insights from the FFI, which revealed that the average Singaporean requires S$566,640 and 27.3 years to achieve financial freedom, participants will be challenged to collect virtual Singlife CareShield tokens and make strategic financial decisions within a 27-second timeframe to reach their “Financial Freedom” destination. Prizes for winners range from S$10 to S$50 in gift vouchers.

Helen Shen, Group Head of Health at Singlife, will be a key speaker at the festival, participating in a panel discussion titled “Navigating Singapore’s Ageing Population: Insurance Solutions for Health and Longevity” at the Huat! Stage at 3:20 PM. Alongside esteemed panelists including representatives from the Life Insurance Association (LIA) Singapore, Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, and MoneyHero Group, Helen will address critical questions surrounding Singaporeans’ increasing life expectancy, rising healthcare costs, necessary insurance coverage, and how to evaluate insurance options effectively.

Additionally, content creator and cancer survivor, Rainier James, will share his personal journey at the Heng Stage at 1:25 PM. Through his firsthand experience battling testicular cancer, Rainier emphasizes the importance of comprehensive insurance coverage, such as Singlife’s Shield plan, which proved instrumental in covering his medical expenses despite his young age and good health.

Attendees are invited to join Singlife at the #SinglifeDreamTrain booth and gain valuable insights from panel discussions led by industry experts and personal stories shared by individuals like Rainier James.
