In an era where digital engagement intertwines with traditional reading habits, Playbrary offers a unique blend of storytelling and digital gameplay, providing an immersive reading experience like never before. By harnessing the capabilities of ChatGPT, players can now explore classic literary works such as Frankenstein and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes in an entirely new light.

Players will have the opportunity to step into the shoes of iconic characters like Sherlock Holmes, making choices and solving mysteries alongside Dr. John Watson. This innovative fusion of AI and gaming not only breathes new life into beloved classics but also aligns with NLB’s National Reading Movement, aiming to promote a love for reading across all ages and interests.

At launch, Playbrary features a selection of classic titles including Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, Frankenstein, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Accessible to all and free of charge, this platform invites readers and gamers alike to embark on literary journeys, fostering a deeper appreciation for classic literature.

As NLB continues to prioritize digital initiatives and enhance the reading experience for all, more classic titles will be introduced to Playbrary in the coming months. This initiative represents a significant step forward in bridging the gap between traditional reading and digital engagement, paving the way for a new era of interactive storytelling.
