Singapore Garden Festival 2024 Blooms Again: A Floral Extravaganza

Singapore Garden Festival (SGF) returns for its ninth edition, promising a breathtaking showcase of gardens and floral designs from around the globe. Organized by the National Parks Board (NParks), this premier international garden and flower show will take place at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from August 3rd to August 11th, 2024.

Prelude Event

Before the main festival in August, SGF kicks off with a Prelude event at Takashimaya Square B2 from March 14th to March 17th, 2024. Here, visitors can get a taste of what’s to come and purchase tickets for the festival on SISTIC.

  • Floral Fiesta: Florist enthusiasts and designers from all walks of life in Singapore are invited to participate in this competition. Using provided floral materials, participants will unleash their creativity in two live rounds of competition on March 15th, 2024. The top five finalists will compete in the Floral Table-Top competition at SGF in August.
  • MarketPlace: A one-stop destination featuring six local plant nurseries and four vendors offering a wide variety of gardening-related lifestyle products and décor.
  • Floral Workshops: Led by award-winning local floral designer Keith Lin, these workshops on March 16th and 17th, 2024, will teach participants how to create floral headpieces and centerpieces.

SGF Master Series at Pan Pacific Hotel

On March 16th, 2024, SGF introduces its first Floral Masterclass with renowned Australian master florist Mark Pampling. Titled “Chaos & Control,” the masterclass will focus on freestanding bench designs, providing participants with insights into contemporary flower placements and binding techniques.

Main Festival Highlights

  • Best of Show Fantasy and Landscape Gardens: Twelve gardens featuring creations by top award-winning designers from around the world.
  • Floral Windows to the World Championship (FWWC): Eighteen international floral designers will compete for the Grand Champion title by executing six challenging tasks over three days.
