Amara Singapore Debuts Lobby Bar and Refreshed Cafe Oriental

Amara Singapore introduces its latest lifestyle destinations: the Lobby Bar and the refreshed Cafe Oriental. Designed to evoke feelings of intimacy and comfort, these spaces offer the perfect setting for meaningful conversations and unforgettable moments.

Lobby Bar

Nestled within Amara Singapore, the Lobby Bar promises a dynamic experience that evolves throughout the day. Bathed in soft natural light during daylight hours, it offers a relaxed grab-and-go concept. As the sun sets, the amber glow of the bar, coupled with a curated wine collection, transforms the space into a lively setting for the evening crowd.

Boasting a minimalist design aesthetic, the Lobby Bar pays homage to the heritage of its surrounding neighborhood, Tanjong Pagar. Terracotta elements and solid granite steps reminiscent of the area’s historic shophouses create a sense of timeless elegance. Leather, marble, and wood accents further elevate the space, inviting guests to unwind in refined relaxation.

Collaborating with Grand Vin, the Lobby Bar offers an impressive selection of renowned wines, including top curations from Champagne Louis Roederer and Domaines Barons de Rothschild. Guests can also look forward to engaging wine-tasting masterclasses and meet-and-greet sessions with visiting winemakers.

Open from 7 a.m. onwards, the Lobby Bar caters to early risers with artisanal coffee and pastries, while the wine experience begins from 4 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.

Cafe Oriental

Adjacent to the Lobby Bar, Cafe Oriental reopens its doors after a stunning interior refurbishment. Inspired by the nearby Tanjong Pagar Plaza Food Centre, the cafe brings to life the modern-day hawker stall experience with its tiled floor pattern and stainless steel counters. Lush greenery envelops the space, creating a serene oasis within the bustling city.

Curated by Chef Danny Bong, the inaugural reopening menu at Cafe Oriental showcases hearty dishes inspired by Singapore’s diverse culinary heritage. From traditional recipes passed down through generations to modern reinterpretations, each dish is a celebration of Singapore’s rich cultural tapestry.

Open daily from 11.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m., Cafe Oriental invites guests to indulge in a culinary journey that seamlessly blends timeless charm with contemporary flair.
