Magnum Unveils Limited Edition Mini Pistachio and Mini Hazelnut for CNY Celebrations in Singapore

To celebrate Chinese New Year (CNY) in Singapore, Magnum introduces an enticing addition to its lineup with the launch of the limited edition Magnum Mini Pistachio and Mini Hazelnut ice creams, aimed at enhancing the festive spirit of reunion and indulgence.

We were invited to a CNY lohei event with the Magnum team for the launch of the new flavours at My Awesome Cafe, where we sampled a few specially created dishes using Magnum-inspired ingredients, followed by a serving of the two limited edition ice cream:

Reminiscent of traditional CNY treats, the Magnum Mini Pistachio features a rich and nutty pistachio ice cream, while the Magnum Mini Hazelnut offers a velvety vanilla ice cream complemented by chocolate hazelnut swirls, all encased within Magnum’s signature milk chocolate shell.

This festive season, Magnum invites everyone to elevate our CNY celebrations with these indulgent treats, perfect for sharing and creating unforgettable moments. Whether as a dessert centerpiece or a delightful snack, the Magnum Mini Pistachio and Mini Hazelnut promise to add sweetness and pleasure to the Year of the Dragon.

The pistachio is known as “开心果 (happy fruit)” in Chinese because of the open shell that looks like an open smile. As such, it is often served during CNY to spread joy and festive cheers.

Additionally, Magnum’s brand name in Chinese is “梦龙 (dream dragon)” and this indulging yourself with a serving of “dragon ice cream” this year is all the more auspicious.

Availability

Available for a limited time only, the Magnum Mini Pistachio and Mini Hazelnut ice creams can be found island-wide at all major supermarkets, hypermarkets, e-commerce platforms, and delivery services such as Grab and FoodPanda.

The recommended retail price for a mini multipack of six is $12.12, with final prices subject to the discretion of respective retailers.
