With Chinese New Year (CNY) just around the corner, Pizza Hut Singapore is turning festivities up a notch with the launch of its exclusive CNY menu. Get ready to indulge in the Hu-at! Cheong Gai Pizza and Hey! Bee Hiam Melts, two reimagined local favourites of classic CNY dishes.
This Singapore-inspired local creation boasts Har Cheong Gai Chicken Bites atop a delectable prawn paste sauce. We tried it and appreciated that there are a lot of different flavours presented in one pizza, but they did not harmonise as a whole. Nonetheless, we can see how it can be a fun novelty to feast on for the festive period.
Inspired by the spicy dried shrimp rolls, these crunchy delights are filled with spicy dried shrimp paste, chicken chunks, and topped with chicken floss for a blend of spice and crunch.
To go with the launch of their CNY delights, Pizza Hut Singapore had also rolled out a tongue-in-cheek TV commercial co-created with MediaCorp SocialHub, demonstrating how Pizza Hut’s limited-time festive menu empowers you to “Prosper! Don’t Paiseh!”. We found it quite cute and relatable:
Beyond the centrepiece pizzas, the limited-time menu includes succulent Honey Roasted Wings, Har Cheong Gai Bites, and oven-baked breadsticks drizzled with condensed milk and adorned with golden chicken floss.
From 11 to 24 January, indulge in a Regular Hu-at! Cheong Gai Pizza for just $0.88 with a minimum spend of $38. Enjoy a Hey! Bee Hiam Melts for $9.90 when you order for delivery, takeaway, or dine-in, valid till 28 February.
