Ice Cream Sundays, the renowned Singapore-based party collective, is set to kick off the new year with a spectacular pop-up party, and they’re turning up the heat by bringing Japanese DJ/production duo, Monkey Timers, to grace the event with their infectious blend of New House and Disco Dub. The much-anticipated party is scheduled for February 24th at Tanjong Pagar Distripark (39 Keppel Road) and will run from 3pm to 10:30pm.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of DJ Harvey and Idjut Boys, Monkey Timers has emerged as pioneers in the next phase of Japan’s dance music scene. As founders of the DISKO KLUBB record label and party series, their productions have gained recognition from industry luminaries like Eric Duncan and Justin Van Der Volgen. With two Boiler Room appearances and a rising profile in Tokyo’s thriving scene, Monkey Timers are poised to bring their unparalleled energy to Singapore.
The event will also feature Ice Cream Sundays’ resident DJs Bongomann, Toppings, and Muto, who will bid farewell to fans as he prepares to relocate back to Japan later this year.
Ice Cream Sundays is known for choosing exciting outdoor locations, and this time they’re returning to the site of their 7th-anniversary party – Tanjong Distripark. With a breezy car park space, an industrial backdrop, dreamy sunset views, and ample room for dancing, it promises to be a classic ICS venue. The creative collaboration of artists and visual creatives, including @jaymimcm, worm.grrl, UmamiFX, Jen O’Connor, and @bryankxe, will transform the space for a fresh party experience with innovative stage design, custom lighting, and decorative flourishes.
The onsite bar will feature a variety of refreshments, including Bombay Sapphire, Bacardi Carta Blanca, Dewar’s, 42 Below, and other spirits, along with ice-cold beers and seltzers. Early arrivers can enjoy the happy hour until 5pm, with beers and seltzers priced at $8. The Goodburger Food Truck will also be on-site, offering meat-free yet delicious burgers and finger foods throughout the day.
Don’t miss out on the electrifying beats and vibrant atmosphere. Tickets for ICS Presents: Monkey Timers are available now, starting at $40.
