Suzuki Jimny 5-Door Makes First Ever Appearance in Singapore

Car enthusiasts have more reason to be gettin’ jiggy with it, or in this case, gettin’ jimny with it. Excitement was brewing in the air at the Suzuki booth at the Singapore Motorshow 2024, which opened on 11 January 2024 at Suntec City Convention and Exhibition Centre in Singapore.

The cause of the buzz? It was the Suzuki Jimny 5-Door.

The Jimny has long been winning hearts of car enthusiasts around the world since its debut in 1970, so much so that it has practically become an icon. While the Jimny 3-Door is on sale in Singapore, the Jimny 5-Door is making its maiden appearance in Singapore. Currently, there is no word on when the Jimny 5-door is available for sale in Singapore though. Fans, just keep your fingers crossed for now.

The Jimny 5-Door was released as a new specification with rear doors newly added for a 5-door form at a global debut in Delhi, India in January 2023. The addition of two doors expanded the overall length of the car by 340mm when compared to the Jimny 3-Door. The showcase at the Singapore Motorshow 2024 gives car lovers a chance to get up close and personal with the off-roader’s functional and unique design.
