Korean Air’s new Innovative Safety Video Features Virtual Humans

Korean Air has unveiled a cutting-edge inflight safety video featuring virtual humans, marking a pioneering step in the aviation industry. This avant-garde safety presentation aims to transcend language barriers and resonate with passengers of diverse ages and cultural backgrounds, providing a sleek and engaging visual experience.

Virtual Reality Soars to New Heights

Step into the future as Korean Air introduces the concept of virtual humans in their safety video. Set against the backdrop of the intricately designed “Korean Air Safety Lounge” with airplane motives, this immersive virtual space enhances the clarity of inflight safety rules. The video stars Rina, a virtual human donned in a Korean Air flight attendant uniform, who imparts essential safety instructions after completing training at Korean Air’s Cabin Crew Training Center, earning the honorary title of flight attendant. Accompanying Rina are the members of MAVE, a virtual girl group of four, playing the roles of passengers following the safety guidelines.

Metaverse Magic: Collaborative Creations

In a groundbreaking collaboration with Metaverse Entertainment of Netmarble F&C, Korean Air introduces virtual human Rina and the members of MAVE. This marks the first instance of an airline incorporating virtual humans in a safety video, demonstrating the airline’s commitment to innovation and customer engagement.

Takeoff into a New Customer Experience

The virtual safety video, now featured on all Korean Air flights, invites passengers to experience inflight safety in a revolutionary way. Beyond the conventional safety measures, the video covers crucial topics such as proper storage of carry-on luggage, fastening seatbelts, prohibited items during the flight, cabin smoking regulations, procedures in the event of cabin pressure abnormalities, emergency exit locations, and the correct way to don a life jacket.

Beyond the Skies: Where to Watch

This captivating safety video is not limited to the skies; it has been released on Korean Air’s official YouTube Channel (@koreanair). Passengers can catch a glimpse of the innovative safety measures from the comfort of their homes, building anticipation for their next flight with Korean Air.

As Korean Air pioneers this groundbreaking approach to inflight safety, passengers are sure to be captivated by the fusion of technology, creativity, and a commitment to providing an unforgettable customer experience.
