Mission Foods Introduces New Healthy Wraps to Promote Balanced Diets in Singapore

Mission Foods, a global leader in wrap production, recently unveiled two latest additions to its Healthy Wraps Range – the Wholemeal Protein Wraps and Wholemeal Salt Reduced Wraps. These two new products aim to strike a balance between nutritional needs by offering plant-based proteins and reduced sodium levels, aligning with the growing consumer demand for healthier dietary options.

New from Mission foods – Wholemeal Protein Wraps and Wholemeal Salt Reduced Wraps

Responding to a shifting trend toward mindful eating and increased interest in plant-based protein products, Mission Foods launches these wraps as a convenient solution for consumers striving for a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

The Wholemeal Protein Wraps cater to a diverse audience, including vegans and vegetarians, by incorporating plant-based proteins. These wraps present an eco-friendly and high-protein option that supports metabolism, bone strength, and muscle growth, diversifying protein sources beyond meat and seafood.

On the other hand, the Wholemeal Salt Reduced Wraps boast a unique formulation with a lower 134mg of sodium per wrap. This reduced sodium content aligns with health recommendations aimed at lowering the risks associated with high blood pressure and cardiovascular diseases.

Both wraps are high in dietary fibre, devoid of artificial flavours and added sugar, ensuring a wholesome eating experience. Their soft texture and versatility in culinary applications make them suitable for various recipes, allowing consumers to explore their creativity in the kitchen.

Randall Tan, Brand Manager for Mission Foods South Asia, emphasises the importance of these new wraps in empowering consumers to make healthier choices: “Our vision is to empower consumers to add a healthy choice to their meals, as they discover the limitless recipe possibilities that our wraps bring to the table.”

To celebrate the launch, Mission Foods Singapore initiated an #OnABalancedMission campaign, collaborating with social media personalities Charlotte Mei and Angelina Poon. Both influencers showcase the versatility of these wraps by creating original, nutritious recipes, inspiring Singaporeans to adopt healthier lifestyles.

The campaign includes four innovative recipes: Kimchicky Wraps, Mediterranean Tuna Samosa, Lemon Garlic Chicken Thigh Wraps, and Chilli and Lime Prawn Soft Tacos. These recipes demonstrate the wraps’ adaptability and offer simple yet delicious options for consumers seeking healthier meal choices.
