Amazon’s ‘Page to Page’ Books Pop-Up Event Spreads Holiday Cheer at Punggol Regional Library

This festive season, Amazon Singapore is bringing smiles to children and families with a one-of-a-kind reading experience, ‘Page to Page: Amazon Singapore Books Pop-Up.’ Set to unfold at Punggol Regional Library from 2 – 17 December 2023, this initiative is more than just a pop-up event – it’s a celebration of community, literacy, and the joy of giving back.

Key Dates:

  • Event Period: 2 -17 December 2023
  • Opening Ceremony: 2 December 2023

The Launch and Wishlist Initiative

The festivities kick off with an enchanting opening ceremony on December 2nd, with special guests, including children and family beneficiaries from the Amazon x Shop for Good wishlist initiative. This heartwarming initiative is more than just a pop-up; it’s a testament to Amazon Singapore’s commitment to uplifting the local community.

Supporting Local NPOs

As part of their dedication to social empowerment, Amazon Singapore will be donating a generous $100,000 in cash to four local NPOs: Children’s Wishing Well, Club Rainbow (Singapore), Fei Yue Family Service Centre, and Glyph Community. The donation ceremony will take place at the launch of ‘Page to Page: Amazon Singapore Books Pop Up,’ reinforcing Amazon’s commitment to supporting children and youths in Singapore for the long run.

Enriching the Community

The pop-up at Punggol Regional Library symbolizes Amazon’s commitment to inspiring the next generation of lifelong readers. Showcasing a tree adorned with books sourced from Amazon Singapore’s diverse local and international sellers, the initiative aims to foster a sense of community, igniting a passion for literacy during the festive season. Families are encouraged to join with their children, creating special moments and cultivating a mutual love for reading.

Amazon x Shop for Good Wishlist Initiative

Under the Amazon x Shop for Good wishlist initiative, Amazon Singapore collaborates closely with local NPOs to understand evolving needs, channeling resources to uplift and nurture underprivileged children. The initiative also serves to raise awareness and encourage the public to give to meaningful causes regularly, offering a convenient platform for donating.

Delivering Smiles

Amazon Singapore’s wishlist initiative, launched in 2020, makes giving and doing good a seamless part of daily experiences for customers. As shoppers browse Amazon.sg for holiday gifts or daily essentials, they can easily find and purchase items requested by NPOs on their wishlists. This streamlined process ensures that donated items align with the needs of NPOs, providing a convenient and impactful way to give back.

Season of Giving

This holiday season, customers can join Amazon in its season of giving by shopping for an NPO’s wishlist. A total of 16 local NPOs, including Arc Children’s Centre, Blessings in a Bag, Singapore Children’s Society, and Willing Hearts, are part of this meaningful initiative.
