Little Farms Bistro, Katong Point, Introduces Wood-Fired Grill Mainstays in New Menu

Little Farms Bistro, known for its use of fresh, healthy produce and ingredients, recently unveiled a new menu crafted by its Head Chef, Ming Earn, with a spotlight on wood-fired grilled dishes.

Catering to the evolving needs of discerning gourmands, the Little Farms Bistro, housed inside Little Farm’s biggest outlet in Singapore, prides itself on using all-natural produce at the peak of their freshness to whip up its dishes, and promises that its meat products are procured from ethical farms. These latest menu additions seek to light up the current offerings a notch. The meats featured in the new menu are of the highest quality, sourced from renowned meat brands such as O’Connor Beef, Bostock Brothers Chicken, and Roaring Forties Lamb.

Tantalising the taste buds of diners are the new mainstays, O’Connor Grass-fed Beef Prime Cuts and Roaring Forties Lamb Cutlets, exquisitely prepared on the wood-fire grill to attain perfection. Each main course is accompanied by a side dish of your choice, allowing you to customise your dining experience to your liking.

We were invited for a dinner tasting and these were the items we sampled from the new menu:

Prawn & Bourbon Bisque ($14)
Cured Salmon Tartare ($12) – grilled wawa cabbage, avocado wasabi, lumpfish roe

Grilled Portobello Mushroom Bruschetta ($12)
O’Connor Grass-fed Beef Prime Cuts (200g – $42, 250g – $48, 300g – $54) – served with Bearnaise and Red Wine Sauces
Thai Style Organic BBQ Chicken (half) ($30) – served with scallion and pickled salad
Left to right: NY Cheesecake ($12), Chocolate Fourless Praline ($10)
Orange & Lavender Earl Grey Iced Tea ($8), Soda (Still or Sparkling Water, $1 per head, free flow)

The highlight of the night was the O’Connor Grass-fed Beef Prime Cuts of course, and it is definitely a dish worth ordering for steak lovers. We enjoyed the Thai Style Organic BBQ Chicken just as much and credit goes to the high-quality meat ingredient used.

We don’t typically associate grilled food with healthy, clean eating, but Little Farms Bistro is able to balance the heavy, greasiness of a grilled steak meat with lighter starters and sides. The two starters featuring fresh portobello mushrooms and salmon tartare were pretty memorable too. Both offered a refreshing burst of flavours that open up our appetite for the rest of our dinner items ahead.

Verdict? We love the new grilled addition and look forward to more exciting menu introductions at Little Farms Bistro again. This is a great place to dine with kids to introduce them to healthy eating.
