Voices of Singapore (VOS) and Capitol Singapore are thrilled to announce the much-awaited return of SingNation! 2023, in collaboration with the generous support of corporate patron Perennial Holdings. This year’s event promises to be Singapore’s grandest outdoor choir, taking place on 5 August 2023 at Capitol Singapore. SingNation! is dedicated to celebrating Singaporean music and fostering unity through the joy of singing.

Building upon the overwhelming success of the previous year’s physical SingNation!, this year’s event aims to bring together diverse communities and people from all walks of life to join in celebrating Singapore’s 58th birthday. SingNation! 2023 will run alongside various National Day festivities at Capitol Singapore and CHIJMES from 1st to 13th August 2023.

Prepare to be enthralled with an unforgettable experience that captures the true spirit of community singing, all in alignment with Voices of Singapore’s vision to Inspire a Singing Singapore.

SingNation! 2023 will be hosted by the esteemed VOS Artistic Director, Darius Lim, alongside the talented music educator, Joyce Ang, and the beloved local band, The Passerby. The sing-along session will feature an exciting lineup of familiar tunes and cherished Singaporean songs, including both past and present National Day Parade (NDP) theme songs and beloved local folk tunes. Participants will have the unique opportunity to sing different parts of these songs, creating a harmonious blend of voices that reflect the vibrant tapestry of Singapore. To ensure everyone can sing along with ease, lyrics and limited complimentary mini flags will be provided on-site.

In addition to SingNation!, The Passerby will captivate you with their crowd-favorite and popular tunes on the same afternoon, 5th August, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski.

For those unable to attend the National Day Parade in person, the event will be live-streamed on 9th August at the Outdoor Plaza at Capitol Singapore, Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski, as well as B1 of CHIJMES, allowing everyone to partake in the joyous celebration.

Throughout the National Day festivities, visitors can also delight in exclusive specialties and deals offered by participating F&B outlets in Capitol Singapore and CHIJMES.
