POP MART x ActionCity to bring the joy of POP Toy Show in Singapore this September

POP MART, the renowned world of collectable art toys, teams up with the beloved homegrown retail brand ActionCity to bring the POP Toy Show (PTS) to life in Singapore in 2023!

For the very first time, this mesmerizing showcase was venturing outside of China, setting its sights on the dazzling Marina Bay Sands on 8 – 10 September. It’s a much-anticipated event, as the designer toys from POP MART had already won the hearts of collectors and fans all over the globe. Now, Singaporeans are eagerly awaiting their chance to immerse themselves in this captivating world of creativity.

Upon entering the exhibition, fans will be greeted by a vast 7,950 square meters of pop culture heaven, filled with an array of collectables from POP MART, Hot Toys, Medicom BE@RBRICK, and figurines. Moreover, this year’s event has an exciting addition – it will also showcase creations by emerging designers from the region, promising fresh and innovative perspectives.

Throughout the three-day extravaganza, you will have the chance to encounter more than 50 talented artists and toy designers. Among the much-awaited guests were the famous POP MART designers like Kenny Wong (the mastermind behind MOLLY), Pucky (the creative genius behind Pucky), and Ayan Deng (the brilliant mind behind Dimoo). Their presence in Singapore for the first time would surely ignite the excitement of POP MART collectors and fans.

To the delight of attendees, these artists would be available for meet-and-greet sessions, providing insights into their creative process and sharing stories about their beloved characters. Fans lucky enough to acquire their collectables will have the opportunity to have them signed and even witness live illustration sessions hosted by talented designers.

Excitement also stirs closer to home, as Singaporean artists like Rex Lee (the visionary behind My Spacecats), Yang (the ingenious mind behind Ooja), and Lesdoublewood (the creative force behind Jelilo) promised to bring their A-game to the show. Their interactive activities will give you a chance to engage up close and personally with your favourite local talents.

The inaugural PTS Singapore 2023 holds special significance as it marked the return of the largest toy show post-COVID-19. After six successful shows in Beijing and Shanghai, it was finally time to reunite toy enthusiasts in person and celebrate their shared love for collectables and pop culture. Attendees could look forward to exploring the latest trends and exclusive releases in the world of designer toys, interacting with like-minded enthusiasts, and participating in a multitude of exciting activities.

The tickets for the POP Toy Show are now on sale, offering a range of options for enthusiasts. Attendees could choose from 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day passes, as well as VIP and Group/Family (4pax) tickets, with prices starting from just $25. Soon, these tickets would also be available for purchase at POP MART and ActionCity stores, ensuring that everyone has a chance to join in on the excitement.
