Brewerkz has recently opened its latest restaurant at the newly launched Woodleigh Mall, and it is an exciting addition to the dining scene in the area.

Situated in a scenic location overlooking Alkaff Lake, the restaurant offers a picturesque view of the man-made lake and the adjacent wooded Heritage Walk, creating a serene and inviting ambiance for diners. When we visited, the lake has not been completed yet, but the restaurant still has a great ambiance:

The interior of Brewerkz Woodleigh Mall is contemporary and modern, incorporating natural materials like wood, marble, copper, and terracotta. The warm and welcoming atmosphere is enhanced by turquoise panels, blue and white glazed floor tiles, and Brewerkz’s own upsized beer artwork on the walls, adding a touch of fun to the space.

The menu at Brewerkz Woodleigh Mall offers a tantalising blend of modern European, classic American, and Asian favorites. Group Executive Chef Seow Tzi Qin (TQ) has created several new and exclusive dishes that are worth trying, available only at the Brewerkz outlet at Woodleigh Mall.

We were invited for a dinner tasting and sampled seven different dishes that were exclusively created by Chef TQ, just for the outlet at Woodleigh Mall.

We started off the night with Chili Lime Shrimp Poppers, made with fresh, locally farmed shrimps that are just the right size to fit in one mouthful. Tangy and sweet all at once, these were perfect to whet our appetite for the feast ahead.

For those seeking a healthy option, the Gingerflower Acai Salad which was served next is a refreshing choice. It is like a healthy version of our local rojak.

Packed with mixed fruits, salad greens, and acai sorbet, this bowl of goodness is topped with a revitalising gingerflower dressing. It is a perfect choice for keto and salad enthusiasts, offering a nourishing and flavorsome meal. Personally, this was one of my favourite dishes for the night.

For local food lovers, Chef TQ’s Straits Style Nasi Lemak is a must-try. It features duck instead of the usual chicken and the presentation is really beautiful, with an array of natural colours. Flavours are great too and vastly different from the conventional nasi lemak.

The highlight for the night for us was the Stuffed Berkshire Pork Rack, accompanied by a lemon mustard sauce and five-onion chutney.

The pork rack is moist and succulent, and the accompanying chutney provides a sweet and tangy contrast. The dish is further elevated by Jamon-wrapped asparagus, adding an extra layer of flavor and texture.

If you like Singapore-inspired fusion dishes, the Paper Wrapped Laksa Seafood is another must-try. Made with locally sourced ingredients from Ah Hwa Kelong, a reputable local seafood supplier, this dish pays homage to Singaporean culture. The fresh seafood is cooked with a creamy and rich laksa cream sauce, allowing it to retain its natural moisture. Served with konjac noodles to soak up the flavorful sauce and delicately wrapped in paper, it’s a delightful and innovative take on a beloved local dish.

In addition to the fantastic food, Brewerkz Woodleigh Mall also boasts an extensive coffee menu, over-the-counter cakes, pastries, and their signature handcrafted craft beers on tap:

For those with sweet tooth, Chef TQ has created two exclusive dessert dishes – a chocolate lava cake paired with mango-passionfruit sorbet and a Brewerkz version of a Tiramisu, infused with beer. The latter is something unique and worth-trying while the former will end the meal on a clean note for you, with sweet and sour palate cleaners.

It is smart of Brewerkz to have outlet exclusive dishes. With five outlets in Singapore, it gives their diners and regular customers a reason to visit all five different outlets instead of sticking to just one.

The outlet exclusive Singapore-inspired fusion dishes at Woodleigh Mall are all fun to enjoy, elevating the dining experience of enjoying our favourite hawker fares, paired with Brewerkz craft beer and more. This is definitely a winning formula.
