You don’t have to be an expert on Irish culture to celebrate St Paddy’s – all you need are your best mates and a pint of Guinness!
There’s no better way to kick off the weekend festivities than with a pint of beautiful Guinness. Come St Patrick’s Day on Friday 17 March, Guinness partners Muddy Murphy’s, one of Singapore’s most iconic Irish pubs, to mark the occasion.
From 1759 hrs, revellers at the Irish institution will receive free pints of smooth and creamy Guinness for the next 17 mins and 59 seconds only. Why? Because Guinness originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness at St. James’s Gate in 1759!
After three years, St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival returns to Boat Quay, courtesy of Singapore River One, the place manager of Singapore River precinct. Free to all, soak in the good times from 18-19 March, 3-10pm at Circular Road.
Brace yourself for all things Irish – music, food, games, makeovers and pints of the black stuff courtesy of Guinness, the official beer partner for the event.
Experience live entertainment at Rock and Trad Stage, located at the start of Boat Quay, near Molly Malone’s and Mogambo Bar & Restaurant. Expect an eclectic lineup of live bands and Irish dancers, including the energetic and irreverent The Craic Horse, and celtic folk and punk rock musicians Gan Ainm, both of whom have thrilled party-goers over past editions of the Street Festival.
There will also be special experiences and Guinness promo deals at our favourite pubs, bars and restaurants in the area. Simply explore and enjoy all things St Pat’s with a pint of Guinness in hand to be rewarded. All you have to do is take part in a Giant Plinko game and complete your stamp redemption card to win exclusive Guinness merchandise such as jute bags, yoyos, mugs, and magnets.
Come decked in green and Guinness will do the rest. Complete your St Pat’s fit with glitter painting, airbrush tattoos, and white and green hairspray, complimentary for all at the festival grounds.
