The Songkran Music Festival 2023 will be bigger and splashier at Wild Wild Wet featuring DJs Headhunterz and Amber Na

The Songkran Music Festival (SMF) is back and has been expanded from one to two days on April 14 and 15 at Wild Wild Wet, Downtown East.

Organised by NTUC Club, SMF is one of Downtown East’s signature events that showcases an ensemble of breathtaking water jet and light displays, alongside heart-pumping rhythms from international, regional and local DJs.

The two-day festival is expected to draw 5,000 music fans this year, up from the 2,000 attendees in 2019. The festival will be hosted by hypeman T-Fresh.

Musically Edgier Show

SMF is set to wow with an edgier and diverse electronic music fare that reflects today’s global soundscapes. Set against the backdrop is the festival’s elaborate staging that will feature a synchronized dance of water and spectacular visuals for the eye to behold, befitting the Songkran theme and spirit, as the beats drop and peak.

DJ Headhunterz is a Dutch DJ and music producer who’s taking the EDM world by storm! His sets are a wild ride filled with bass-heavy beats, synced lights, and tons of excitement. Expect nothing less than a musically wild ride packed with euphoric beats when he turns up the volume at SMF.

Adding a dose of eye-candy is bombshell DJ Amber Na from Malaysia, ranked number 33 on the top 100 female DJs list globally. She will helm the deck with her blend of tech-house tracks to progressive and electro beats. In the past six years, she has been taking the EDM world by storm with her charismatic performance.

To up the ante, the SMF 2023 music lineup will also feature regional acts by:

  • DJ Ada & MC Nikii from China
  • Dash
  • Sakura
  • Sforla
  • JOERU
  • Q Doll

During the two-day SMF, festival-goers can also enjoy food and bar stalls. If you have a bigger appetite for a Thai feast, you have a choice of six Thai eateries at Downtown East:

  • Co+Nut+Ink
  • Tuk Tuk Cha
  • Kin Kao Young
  • Sakon Thai
  • Siam Square Mookata
  • The Basil Inn
