Resorts World Sentosa readies to celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with over 80 life-sized rabbit sculptures for photo opportunities!

Hop over to Resorts World Sentosa this Year of the Rabbit where bountiful festive moments await at the premium lifestyle destination resort. Enjoy memorable celebrations and usher in prosperity and good fortune at its attractions and restaurants as it rolls out a wealth of fun-filled festivities and auspicious culinary treasures.

More than 80 life-sized rabbit sculptures will also be on display around the resort from 21 January. Strike a pose with the cute and colourful rabbits at various locations, including The Forum, @ve8 and hotels.

Universal Studios Singapore

At Universal Studios Singapore, enjoy unforgettable meet and greets, adrenaline-infused rides and special evening festivities, including an LED Dance of the Dragon.

From 13 January to 5 February, Hop into Fun with festive meet and greets, an exciting night Lo Hei event during extended weekend opening hours, beautiful cherry blossom trees and the chance to collect attractive gifts. Complete the day with world-class attractions and entertainment in the theme park.

S.E.A. Aquarium

From 13 January to 5 February, celebrate Spring in the Sea in the Year of the Water Rabbit with 100,000 marine animals as it dons aqua-themed Lunar New Year decorations. Discover eight auspicious animals like the foxface rabbitfish and learn about their amazing traits along the Trail of Fortune. Welcome a prosperous year with Singapore’s only Underwater Dragon Dance, back after a three-year hiatus!

Join Ru Yi the Mermaid at Underwater Tales as she shares enthralling stories about her marine friends and how to protect their homes. You can also capture treasured moments at the Festive Meet-and-Greet with the adorable Manta mascots dressed in their Lunar New Year best!

S.E.A. Aquarium’s Bountiful Wonders package is available at S$46/adult and S$36/child and includes an admission ticket, a S$8 S.E.A. food and beverage voucher and a S$8 S.E.A. Aquarium retail voucher.

Adventure Cove Waterpark

Splash into spring and delight in an abundance of good fun on thrilling water slides or mesmerising close-up experiences with marine life. Its rides and attractions include the adrenaline-pumping Riptide Rocket as well as the relaxing Adventure River, where guests can lay back and drift through stunning themed zones.

RWS Signature Restaurants

Till 6 February, indulge in Cantonese classics with luxurious twists by Hong Kong-born Executive Chef Li Kwok Kwong at Feng Shui Inn. Enjoy a clear view of the chefs at work in the open kitchen while dining in the spacious restaurant at Equarius Hotel.

The Golden Prosperity Menu features prized ingredients in dishes such as Smoked salmon crystalline ice plant yu sheng with black truffle sauce dressing; Double-boiled fish maw soup with chrysanthemum, wolfberries and sakura chicken; and Braised 6-head South Africa abalone and sea cucumber stuffed with minced prawn.

Savour tantalizing ocean-fresh creations at the modern Australian Osia Steak and Seafood Grill.  Helmed by Australian celebrity chef Scott Webster, its Symphony of Seafood a la carte menu offers irresistible whole grilled fishes like the Humpty Doo Barramundi (S$128++) and the hearty Symphony of Seafood Pot (S$288++) of Rockliff spanner crab, murray cod, Skull Island king prawns and black shell mussels in a saffron fish broth. Available from 5 January to 14 February.

From 16 January to 5 February, nouvelle Japanese restaurant Syun by Kobe-based Celebrity Chef Hal Yamashita joins in the festivities with a Lunar New Year a la carte menu featuring coveted air-flown Japanese ingredients. The seasonal creations abound with delightful Japanese flavours, including the Simmered whole abalone in kimizu with kabura turnip (S$108++); Australian whole spiny lobster and chirashi sushi with premium seafood from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market (S$218++); and Kagoshima A4 roast wagyu with sukiyaki truffle sauce (S$118++).

Surprise the family and your palate with a Peruvian-Chinese style Lunar New Year celebration at CHIFA!, a brand-new addition to RWS’ repertoire of award-winning restaurants that is opening soon this January. CHIFA! showcases the unique culinary style that originated in Peru in the late 19th century – a delicious blend of Cantonese cooking techniques and Peruvian food and ingredients. Discover the fascinating flavours of the distinctive cuisine in CHIFA!’s Lunar New Year menus by the restaurant’s Peruvian Chef de Cuisine Ruben Rodrigo Serrano Cabrera who trained under the renowned Peruvian Chef Virgilio Martínez for years.

Feed your appetite for joyous gatherings in a big way at Sessions’ Dinner Seafood Buffet (from S$138++ per adult, S$69++ per child) from 21 January to 5 February. Located at Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, find a fortune of flavours in the spread of dishes like the Slow-roasted ribeye with lily bulb and oriental pepper sauce; Steamed whole barramundi; Fresh flower crabs, prawns and mussels on ice. Each table can also enjoy a complimentary platter of Abalone yu sheng.

From 5 till 20 January, give reunions at home a master chef’s touch with Feng Shui Inn’s take-home dishes.

Amaze guests with Feng Shui Inn’s Wealth Treasure Pen Cai (S$1088 for 10 persons), a sumptuous pot of precious ingredients like South African 6-head abalone, sea cucumber, German pork knuckle, foie gras, and east star grouper, and Ocean of Wealth Yu Sheng (S$168) featuring lobster, smoked salmon, crystalline ice plant, a special strawberry dressing and more.

For something sweet, the Quadruple Happiness Nian Gao (S$68), offers a combination of gourmet water chestnut cake, Gula Melaka nian gao, bean cake and radish cake with Sakura prawns.

Lavish friends and family with gifts like the limited-edition Bountiful Bunnies “Claw machine” (S$628) by award-winning RWS Executive Pastry Chef Kenny Kong.
