[Review] Vibe Hotel Singapore Orchard: Quiet retreat just minutes away from Orchard Road Shopping

Located in a quiet residential enclave just a 7 minutes walk to the Orchard Road shopping belt, Vibe Hotel Singapore recently opened its doors to guests on 3 November 2022. 

The Vibe brand is from Australia and Vibe Hotel Singapore, managed by Far East Hospitality, is the brand’s first foray out of Down Under.

Checking in for our weekend staycation, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel front desk staff who was very courteous and pleasant. We discovered over the next two days of our stay that this hospitality was consistent across all the hotel staff. From the doorman to the cleaning crew, everyone was always ready with an easy smile and greeting, reflective of the warm and friendly vibes Aussies are known for.  

Vibe Hotel Singapore Room

We stayed in a Deluxe Room. The room is modern and minimalist in design. 

A clever design feature of the Deluxe Room is its use of open railings. The black bars add a touch of industrial chic to the room while also making the whole room feel more spacious. It is also practical for hanging clothes and towels easily- very convenient for a short stay. 

Deluxe Rooms come with a bathtub (yes!) and Australian brand O&M bath products.

Vibe Pantry

Grab a snack or drink or both from the Vibe Pantry, Vibe Singapore’s 24-hour self-service counter offering unlimited takeaway treats at a supplement fee.

Unwind and enjoy a relaxing day by the pool with a good read while sipping a drink from the poolside bar. 

Vibe Hotel Singapore Breakfast

Located in the lobby of Vibe Singapore is ROOS, an all-day dining destination for hotel guests and diners. Named after the Australian slang for “Kangaroos”, ROOS offers a wide selection of menu offerings ranging from Aussie-inspired brekkie items, all-day grills, handmade pasta, and a selection of local favourites. 

Breakfast is served at the table from an ala carte menu with both western and local options. 

We enjoyed our breakfast against a tranquil backdrop of man-made waterfall and rocks. We also liked the glass façade which allowed ample sunshine to stream in.
