Junction 8 welcomes new Shake Shack outlet; first 100 guests will receive an Aeropalmics jigsaw puzzle

Shake Shack will open its doors at the iconic Junction 8 on 13 October at 11am. The newest restaurant showcases a mesmerizing indoor-outdoor mural by Singaporean artist Aeropalmics, whose work was inspired by the high energy of the Bishan neighborhood.

The interior design is a nod to Junction 8’s function as a key connectivity point where references to the varying heights and intersections of multiple roads are blended into the ceiling and wall design, and even the lighting choice.

Shake Shack continues to support the local community and is proud to extend its partnership with bean-to-bar chocolatier Ronald Ng of Lemuel Chocolate. Only available at Shake Shack Junction 8 is Who 8 My Cookie?, where creamy vanilla custard is blended with rich caramelized cookies and chunks of Lemuel chocolate.

In line with Shake Shack’s mission to Stand For Something Good, 5% of sales from the Shack Attack concrete will be donated to REACH Community Services Society, which operates out of Bishan.

REACH is a local charity that helps and empowers vulnerable individuals, families, youths, and seniors.

Shake Shack X Aeropalmics

Singaporean visual artist Aeropalmics’ vibrant murals both utilise road-like colorful shapes and lines to represent a map of connections, friendships and relationships that humans experience. These cheerful roads knot and swirl, mirroring the youthful energies of nature, growth and change, that mirrors the journey and connections Shake Shack has made through the years, from a humble hot dog stand in New York City to a gourmet restaurant with more than 300 locations spanning the globe.

Come celebrate this highly anticipated opening on 13 October and as a special treat, the first 100 guests will receive exclusive Shake Shack swag items including a jigsaw puzzle showcasing Aeropalmics’ artwork.

Shake Shack Junction 8 is located at 9 Bishan Place, #01-51, Singapore 579837 and will operate daily from 10am to 10pm. Junction 8 is easily accessible via numerous public transport routes, including a direct link from Bishan MRT Station.
