From 16 and 24 October 2022 respectively, Scoot will launch twice weekly flights into Lombok and Makassar, Indonesia. Additionally, flights to Yogyakarta and Pekanbaru will resume, twice weekly, from 15 October and 24 October 2022 respectively. These destinations will increase Scoot’s existing network in Indonesia to eight cities.
With Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan further easing their border restrictions, you can also look forward to more flights to North Asia. Currently, Scoot operates four-times weekly flights to Hong Kong, daily non-stop flights to Tokyo (Narita) and Seoul (Incheon), five-times weekly flights to Osaka and three-times weekly flights to Jeju.
From the end of October 2022, Scoot will increase the frequency of flights to Jeju to five-times weekly, and its Osaka service will be increased to daily. Additionally, seasonal non-stop flights between Singapore and Hokkaido (Sapporo) from November 2022 to February 2023 will be mounted.
Scoot also offers flights to Tokyo, Sapporo and Seoul via Taipei. From the end of October 2022, the frequency of its Singapore-Taipei-Tokyo flights will be increased to daily services, and three-times weekly Singapore-Taipei-Sapporo flights and five-times weekly Singapore-Taipei-Seoul flights will be reinstated. Consequently, Scoot will be operating a total of 18-times weekly flights to Taipei.
Following positive response to the Pokémon Air Adventures, a partnership with The Pokémon Company, Scoot will increase the frequency of the themed flights on the Pikachu Jet.
From November, the Pikachu Jet will operate three fixed routes per month, on the Singapore-Tokyo, Singapore-Taipei-Tokyo and Singapore-Taipei-Seoul routes, offering Pokémon fans more chances to experience the special flights on their next holiday.
Since 26 September 2022, Scoot has also resumed weekly flights into Fuzhou and increased flight frequency to Nanjing to twice weekly. In the coming month, Scoot will also resume flights into Hangzhou (from 3 October 2022), Zhengzhou (from 12 October 2022), and Wuhan (from 13 October 2022), as well as increase the flight frequency to Tianjin to twice weekly (from 11 October 2022).
The Greater China region remains a key part of Scoot’s network with 21 destinations prior to the pandemic, almost half of which will be reinstated by mid-October.
