You can now book Bus & Ferry rides, Hotel Accommodations, and more travel-related convenience via the Grab app!

Grab adds a new Travel tile on the Grab app. The feature allows you to easily and safely book bus and ferry rides to cities in Malaysia and Indonesia, purchase affordable travel insurance, and book airport transfers, amongst others.

Bus & Ferry

You can now seamlessly purchase bus and ferry tickets when travelling to Malaysia and Indonesia for selected routes through the Grab app, making it more convenient to fulfil all of your transportation needs (including ride-hailing) via a single app.

Simply book your bus or ferry tickets through the Grab app and pay via the secure and cashless GrabPay Wallet. For bus rides, you will receive a QR code for boarding. For ferry rides, you must present your order summary and collect your boarding passes at the ferry terminal before departure.

Travel Cover

You can purchase Travel Cover, a travel insurance with essential coverage from as low as S$3.90 a day.

To facilitate a fuss-free travel experience, the coverage includes medical expenses and trip changes arising from COVID-19, as well as other travel mishaps. Simply indicate the trip duration, destination and insurer information, and the app will generate an instant quote. It only takes a few minutes to complete the purchase on the app.

Ride Abroad

For a fuss-free, safe and convenient way to get to places while on holiday, you can simply rely on your Grab app to book rides in 7 destinations across South East Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

If you’re travelling beyond South East Asia, you can also schedule your rides in advance in over 1,000 cities across the globe.

From premium airport transfers to quick commutes within the city, booking an overseas ride is now fuss free with fixed upfront fares for every ride. Keep it convenient with payment via the GrabPay Wallet, so you don’t need to worry about not having enough foreign cash on hand.

Hotel Accommodation and Tickets to Attractions

You can leverage on Grab’s one-stop suite of services to book hotels and other accommodations from Agoda and Booking.com directly via the Grab app.
