Too lazy to sweep and mop at home?
Let the new Roborock G10 dual-function robot vacuum do both for you while you chill!
Roborock, the makers of intelligent home robots, recently launched their new Roborock G10, an intelligent sweeping and mopping beast of a robot with an impressive 2,500 Pascal suction power, one of the highest in the market among competing brands. Say goodbye to fine hairs and tiny dust particles with the G10.
One of the coolest features of the Roborock G10 is its self-washing mop and self-refilling of the water tank from the dock. All you need to do is fill up a tank of clean water in the dock and the robot vacuum will go back for a refill on its own when all the water in it is dirty.
There are two water tanks in the dock – one for clean water and one for dirty water. Simply pour away the dirty water when the clean tank runs out and refill it accordingly for the next cleaning.
This feature removes one of the biggest hassles when mopping the floor – the constant need to change the water and clean the mop. With the G10, this is all automated.
We tested out the Roborock G10 in our home and absolutely love it. After a cleaning session, the floor was visibly cleaner and textually smoother, free of dust and sticky particles.
The setup for the Roborock G10 is extremely easy and straightforward. Upon unboxing, you just need to clip on the robot base to the dock, plug the electric cable head of the dock into an electrical socket to charge it up, then place your robot vacuum on the dock to power it up.
To control the robot vacuum, you can manually press the buttons on the robot itself or sync your G10 to your mobile phone to control via mobile. Simply download the Roborock app and link it to your G10 via WiFi.
Once done, you can remotely control the G10 with a touch on your mobile, including scheduling cleaning sessions, setting up no-go zones and other features.
On the sweeping and mopping, the G10 was able to perform its duties quietly and efficiently without any hiccups in our home.
I have several carpets at home and the G10 was able to cleverly identify carpeted areas with its ultrasonic carpet sensors. It was also able to lift its mop when it encounter a carpet, proceeding to vacuum it without wetting it. For more intense cleaning, you can also switch on the Carpet Boost mode.
Additionally, I observed that the G10 was able to lift itself over most small obstacles like cables and doorways without any issue.
Founded in 2014, Roborock specialises in the research, development, and production of robotic home cleaners and other cleaning appliances. It develops and produces robot vacuums under its Roborock brand, as well as creating robot vacuums for one of China’s largest technology companies, Xiaomi.
For quality assurance, the masses can’t be wrong – over 4.2 million sets of Roborock robot vacuum cleaners have been sold globally – near the entire population size in Singapore. Currently, Roborock is available in 40 countries, including the U.S., Germany, France, Spain and Singapore.
