Looking for a fun and educational activity this June school holiday? How about an interactive performance at the Asian Civilisations Museum to introduce history to your kids.
Shipwrecked: A Voyage Through Time is a 45-minute family-friendly show and follows the story of Salman, a sailor, who washes up on our shores and is trapped in the museum.
Wondering around the museum , Salman’s memory is sparked by the different artefacts he encounters. He breaks into dramatic songs about his sailing life and a long lost love in his home village, painting a vivid historical narrative in our mind’s eye.
Participants will also enjoy a hand-on activity where they will get to colour their own artefacts and engage in barter trade.
Created specifically with the works in the gallery in mind, this show blends history with fiction in a fun, interactive format.
Shipwrecked is only on for a limited run in June 2022:

2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm
