Come 15 July, you can look forward to your vacay at D’Resort, as the 387-room resort preps for its return after a two-year hiatus. It served as a Community Care Facility, responding to the vital needs of the national-level pandemic.
As the resort prepares to check-in guests in six weeks’ time, their well-being and safety are paramount. D’Resort will be refreshed first – undergoing deep cleaning and thorough sanitisation by a NEA-approved vendor for all rooms and public spaces before opening its doors.
Enjoy 24/7 access with your key card to Pasir Ris Park via the side gate behind BBQ Pit number B25 at Beach Cove block.
D’Resort has hosted a myriad of special occasions, including weddings at its latest Insta-worthy Sky Garden with an awesome sunset view.
Plan your stay and add on packages organised by community tribes such as cycling trails by My Cycling Kaki – a group of cycling and fitness enthusiasts, and engage in ecofriendly activities by Happy Eco Club, a cool community of home gardeners.
From July, you also have more reason to stay longer at D’Resort, with two brand new attractions to visit. The upcoming Gallop Stable will open its newest branch within D’Resort’s premises. Animal lovers and families can bring their kids to enjoy fun and unique activities such as riding, feeding, and hosting parties with the horses and ponies.
Learn more about aquaponics organic farming at Metro Farm, opening a stone’s throw away at Downtown East E!Hub Multi-Storey Carpark Deck, Level 7. You can partake in educational workshops to better understand sustainability and eco-friendliness. Learn the basics of growing your own organic vegetables such as Chinese cabbage, ladies’ fingers, and spinach.
Downtown East will welcome the inclusions of new outlets, such as Don Don Donki, Threeppy by Daiso Japan, Upwall Climbing, and Spartans Boxing Club, alongside all-time faves like Hi Roller skating rink. Plus, dining joints Haidilao Hot Pot, Don Dae Bak, Wine Connection, and Watami Japanese Dining.
You can also sign up for fun baking classes at REDMAN by Phoon Huat (E!Avenue) specially organised by SG Baker’s Club.
D’Resort is offering special room rates up to 35% to welcome you back. The Rainforest Room, which accommodates two, starts from $103+ per night.
Families aren’t left out. The aquatic and tropical-themed Rainforest Family Room, which accommodates two adults and two children, is from $155+ per night.
You can get 20% off the Best Flexible Rate with a minimum booking of three consecutive nights. While bookings are open to the public, NTUC members pack in additional privileges such as unlimited access to Wild Wild Wet water park (worth up to $140 per room, per day), discounted carpark and BBQ pit rates.
For more bang for the buck, savvy card-carrying members can redeem a $10 Downtown East voucher (1,000 Linkpoints), and a $5 Downtown East voucher (500 Linkpoints) to use them when you dine at the F&B outlets.
You can now book here to plan ahead all your activities at Downtown East.
