Known as the largest saltwater pay pond in Southeast Asia, D’Best Recreation is a natural haven spanning a whopping 5 hectares, housing a wide range of fishes like snappers, giant trevallies and threadfins, among many other unique fish species. Its vast size offers a variety of ponds to cater to different types of anglers, ranging from beginners to seasoned hobbyists.
From now till 3 July 2022, D’Best Recreation will be carrying out its inaugural Million Dollar Fishing (MDF) event, which marks the largest prize-giving affair in the history of Singapore’s recreational fishing. With an EV car, Ducati bike, Rolex watch and hundreds of attractive prizes to be won.
This 6-month long affair welcomes both fishing enthusiasts and first-time anglers to cast their rods at D’Best Fishing’s Main Pond, where more than $1 million worth of fish will be released.
The fish will be tagged with two different colours to determine the type of prizes won. More specifically, those who reel in fish with white tags will enter the MDF Top 30 prize draw, where their prizes will ultimately be determined by a draw of lots at the event’s closing ceremony on 9 July.
The remaining fish will then be differentiated with yellow tags, where prizes will be drawn on the day itself and winners will stand a chance to walk away with fishing equipment, dining vouchers and more!

Those who wish to participate may purchase fishing tickets over the counter at D’Best Fishing, via their online store or on e-commerce sites such as Lazada and Shopee.
