Geneco to offer 1 Year worth of electricity complemented with Power Eco Add-on in its social media campaign to two lucky winners!

Geneco unveils its Chinese New Year campaign, “Change Brings Prosperity”, as part of the brand’s purpose to bring awareness to the importance of a sustainable living environment while rallying Singaporeans to advance Singapore’s biodiversity conservation efforts.

In line with Singapore’s push towards circularity and conserving our environment for future generations, Geneco has again partnered with a number of likeminded local brands to roll out recycling bins across Singapore for the public to deposit their used and excess red packets.

As a testament to this meaningful project, local celebrities including Rui En and Tay Kewei will be lending their voices to this initiative to ignite a movement among their audiences. Geneco’s red packet recycling bins will be available from 3 January to 6 March, across 26 retail and office locations islandwide.

This year’s “Change Brings Prosperity” campaign marks one of the many ways that Geneco is reinforcing its sustainability message as the brand continues inspiring Singaporeans to embark on a green journey and take strides to strengthen its community of eco advocates through meaningful partnerships.

As part of the Singapore Green Plan 2030, one of the key pillars is to transform Singapore into a City in Nature and bring Singaporeans closer to greenery in their everyday lives.

This is propelled by a broad range of initiatives including the conservation of local flora and fauna to restore Singapore’s natural heritage. Through such sustained efforts by NParks, Singaporeans today can enjoy encountering a wide variety of native species and be immersed in nature in their everyday lives.

In partnership with Garden City Fund (GCF), a registered charity established by the National Parks Board (NParks), Geneco is spotlighting four of Singapore’s native flowers on its red packet design to showcase their exquisite features. Each red packet is illustrated in intricate detail and accompanied with a simple write-up to share lesser-known facts about the green spaces where each flower can be found with the aim of encouraging Singaporeans to explore the abundance of nature spaces in Singapore.

This initiative comes on the back of the Geneco’s repertoire of green efforts such as its Plant-A-Tree programme – also in collaboration with GCF – and the ChangeMakers programme, as the brand continues its journey to encourage Singaporeans to adopt a sustainable lifestyle. In total, 688 of Geneco’s customers will be receiving two exclusive sets of red packets.

In conjunction with this initiative and for a chance to win these red packets, Geneco will introduce a social media contest to encourage Singaporeans to appreciate and contribute to efforts that support nature conservation within the cityscape.

Participants can stand a chance to win a year’s worth of electricity complemented with Geneco’s Power Eco Add-on, Singapore’s first-and-only customisable green add-on for electricity plans.
