TPG has completed all works necessary to ensure that commuters on the MRT experience uninterrupted mobile service during their journey. This includes in-train coverage while travelling through the underground part of the system as well as in-station.
Over-ground segments of the MRT system have been covered since 2019.
The final segment of coverage to be completed was on the older North-South Line (NSL) and East-West Line (EWL).
Other MRT Lines have already had TPG signal availability much earlier. These include:
With this milestone, TPG subscribers can expect seamless coverage regardless of whether they are travelling by public or private transport in rail or road tunnels. Coverage for all road tunnels was completed in 2020.
TPG offers incredible value-for-money plans including affordable bundles starting at $5. All plans include massive data quotas, unlimited calls to local mobiles and much more. Various TPG mobile plans also incorporate free data roaming in selected countries.
As a new entrant, TPG continues to strive towards providing consumers in Singapore with an attractive choice for mobile services.
