Motorist invites users to participate in a series of car quests on its app and win $800 in cash and other prizes!

With the push towards the adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs) in Singapore, Motorist, a community-focused smart management vehicle app with over 100,000 application users, decided to gather their driving community to get opinions from the ground.

Having one of the largest communities of drivers in Singapore, including 15 EV and 3716 hybrid EV drivers, Motorist conducted a quick survey via Motorist’s Telegram Community Channel that has around 30,000 Singaporean members, garnering over 3,000 responses.

Around 84.2% of the respondents highlighted concerns regarding the lack of charging points and charging times, one of the main obstacles in encouraging the adoption of EVs currently.

Along with companies like Grab and Hyundai Motor Group, Motorist have come up with their own in-app solutions to drive the EV adoption. Some of these features include the EV vs Petrol Price Comparison/Calculator, meant for people considering the switch to EVs to help them make informed decisions.

For those who already own an EV, Motorist plans to have an EV charging station locator, to help drivers locate the nearest charging stations by brand and type (fast/normal charging).

Founded in 2015, Motorist will be celebrating their 6th year anniversary this June. Together with the launch of their new car group chat app feature, they would like to invite users to participate in a series of car quests and stand a chance to win $800 in cash and other prizes!
