Oregon Brand, Tillamook Cheeses, Land on Singapore Shores

In a partnership with Fresh N Natural Foods Pte Ltd, Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA), a farmer-owned dairy co-op founded in 1909, has launched a range of seven Tillamook cheese offerings in Singapore, which include shredded, sliced and snack cheeses in a variety of flavours.

Independent and farmer-owned, TCCA has been dedicated to doing things “the Tillamook Way” for 112 years, which entails caring for their farmer-owners as they upkeep the land, which sustains healthier cows that provide better milk. This, in turn, produces high quality cheese made with rBST (Recombinant bovine somatotropin)-free milk and the cheddars have been heat-shocked (instead of pasteurised) and feature proprietary cultures that deliver Tillamook cheese’s signature texture and flavour.

We were sent some samples, tried them and found them very tasty. The brand has perfected its cheese recipes using traditional methods, without shortcuts and this has helped them win over 750 awards in the last century.

The cheeses are packed in Farmstyle Thick Cut, Thick Cut, Sliced or Snack portions for your convenience in consumption. The snack portions are ideal as light snacks on-the-go; the thick cut versions are perfect to sprinkle on your other food as cheesy add-ons; and the sliced version is great for sandwiches.

Tillamook cheeses are now available in selected Cold Storage, Fairprice Finest and Hyper, Meidiya and Isetan Orchard supermarkets and online via Redmart. Prices range from $9.95 to $13.00 (recommended retail price).
