Available from 24 to 27 December, the Christmas Set Menu (S$188 per pax) incorporates a light starter of Beverly Hills Chopped Salad and Crab Cake, followed by USDA Prime Porterhouse Steak, accompanied by succulent Honey Baked Ham, Pumpkin Mashed Potato, Brussel Sprouts with Bacon, and Vichy-Style Carrots. Homemade Carrot Cake completes the feast.

Additionally, there is also the Christmas brunch menu with highlights including brunch staples such as Steak and Eggs (S$45) and Wolfgang’s Egg Benedict (S$30). These will be available alongside festive additions, including the Festive Prime Rib Roast (S$165) and Boneless Turkey Breast with Vegetables (S$28).

The steak offerings at Wolfgang needs no introduction. They are about the best you can get in Singapore, grilled to perfection with the right tenderness and moisture. I would highly recommend the ordinary-sounding Steak and Egg and Shepherd’s Pie for a comforting, homely treat. Sometimes, traditional is still the best. Expect American-style, super-size, hearty portions for your orders.

Rather than adding a lot of bells and whistles to concoct strange new menu items for the festive period, Wolfgang has chosen to stick with traditions and classical favourites. Ironically, they are able to stand out from the crowd of Christmas menu offerings, precisely because everyone else seems to be doing the opposite.
