Texas Chicken launches “naughty and Nice” christmas menu to spread Cheers

Specially for the festive seasons this year, Texas Chicken has launched a new “Naughty and Nice” Christmas menu, available from 26 November 2020 to 6 Jan 2021 at all Texas Chicken outlets.

The highlight the the Christmas menu is their new Buttery Cranberry Chicken. Sweet and tart cranberry sauce is coated on Texas Chicken’s signature fried chicken before buttery crumbs are sprinkled onto it, giving it a mix of savoury and sweet notes with a crunchy texture.

On the inspiration behind the Buttery Cranberry Chicken, Mr Eugene Lim, Director of Brand & Marketing of Select Group, said: “The idea came about when the team wanted to have a flavour that reminds us of the Christmas holidays during this time period. Traditionally, people pair cranberry sauce with turkey during Christmas, but Texas Chicken wants to give it a twist and pair cranberry sauce with our crowd favourite Fried Chicken instead.”

There are fun additions to the sides as well to spread the festive cheers. This includes a Chicken Ham Mac & Cheese that comes with cheddar cheese, cheese sauce and chicken ham, as well as a Honey Fruity Butter Biscuit, a festive version of Texas Chicken’s signature honey butter biscuits.

A variety of the “Naughty and Nice” Christmas meal choices are available.
