For all the chocolate lovers, this one’s for you.

Taste the chocolates handcrafted and designed by World Chocolate Master 2018 Champion and third-generation owner of Chocolatier Suisse, Elias Läderach.

Here’s a little more background information on this luxury Swiss chocolatier: The family-owned brand has its humble beginnings in the picturesque canton of Glarus, Switzerland, where Rudolf Läderach Junior (Elias’ grandfather) opened the first Läderach chocolate workshop in 1962… and the rest is history! Chocolate lovers can now enjoy the fresh taste of Läderach’s exquisite chocolates across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

We had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with the maestro himself to meticulously put together some sweet treats…

Definitely not masterpieces, but we’re still proud! ?

While waiting for the chocolates to set, Elias told us about the World Chocolate Master competition – *think MasterChef but way more intense*. He also spoke of the proper way to actually eat and enjoy chocolates, by using all your FIVE sense (NO to just shoving these decadent truffles in your mouth! ? My first thought: Damn, we’ve been eating chocolates wrong our whole lives!)

And here comes the exciting part… YOU GET TO TRY THEM TOO!

As part of the World Chocolate Master, Elias Läderach had to create two completely original truffles based on that year’s theme. These were the chocolates that clinched Elias his title and crowned him as a man who seriously knows his craft.

Two of the World Chocolate Master’s competition-winning creations that wowed the judges at the finals will be sold together in a Läderach Masters Collection Chocolate Gift Box.

Masters Tablet Noir Caramel

Highly aromatic dark chocolate filled with caramel and exotic fruits

Masters Bonbon Mandarine

A dark chocolate shell filled with a milk and dark chocolate ganache and mandarin coulis on a crunchy base

Only 300 boxes of the Masters Collection chocolates will be available for sale at Läderach’s first Southeast Asian boutique at Jewel Changi Airport (#01-241). The first 80 boxes purchased on 11 January will also come autographed by the World Chocolate Master himself.

Each Masters Collection Gift Box will be retailing at SGD59.
