Take Chinatown Point’s Gold Bar Challenge while doing your Chinese New Year shopping and stand to take home up to $1,888* cash.
Have you been going for the heaviest weights at the gym? Do you carry all your family’s grocery shopping? All that exceptional wrist strength is going to pay off now. Chinatown Point is organising a Gold Bar Challenge contest which is made for its strongest and most agile shoppers.
Eligible participants are required to lift an approximately 10kg gold bar out of an acrylic box with a small hole within 60 seconds and stand to win $188* cash.
There will be two game sessions every day during the contest period (Jan 10 to 18). The first session is from 12pm to 3pm and the second session is from 5pm to 8pm. During this period, the organiser will select eight fastest winners to enter the Grand Final held on Jan 19. At the Grand Final, these eight contestants will then PK each other and only ONE champion will get to walk home with the grand prize of $1,888* cash.
Only 200 game entry tickets will be issued each day. As long as you spend a combined minimum of $268* across a maximum of three same-day receipts (not inclusive of purchases made with vouchers, or purchases made at push carts or the CNY indoor/outdoor fairs), you can redeem a game entry ticket on a first-come, first-served basis.
Oh yes, tickets are not transferable and you do have to be at least 18 years old to participate. The Gold Bar Challenge game entry tickets are not the things you can redeem when you spend $268*, you will also get to redeem an attractive fabric red packet holder and Chinatown Point’s exclusively designed red packets! You’ll also get to register your child for a craft workshop happening on Jan 11, 12, 18 or 19. Check out our article here for the other activities and promotions happening at Chinatown Point during CNY.
The contest is set to happen at Chinatown Point’s Indoor Atrium on level 1, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for it.
The minimum spend of $268* is totally achievable if you shop for all your new year goodies at Chinatown Point. Not sure where to start? Check out their website here for the latest promotions and merchant directory.
