Kickstart the holidays with a festive cook-off by OUE Social Kitchen. On 16 November 2019, join Wendy Cheng and Jessica Loh as they go head-to-head to compete for the coveted title of queen of the kitchen.

The cook-off marks the beginning of OUE Social Kitchen’s exciting lineup of activations that you can look forward to in the next few months. Located at Downtown Gallery Level 3, the 4,000 square feet open kitchen has a total of 8 cooking stations (6 standard and 2 halal-friendly) that support up to 4 pax each.

Christmas Cook-Off at OUE Social Kitchen

Xiaxue and Shiberty will each serve up a Christmas-themed recipe packed with holiday cheer.

Xiaxue’s light and sophisticated dish pairs succulent shrimp and fresh asparagus with perfectly al dente angel hair pasta.

Brimming with brown buttery goodness, Shiberty’s recipe combines seared luscious scallops and sauteed greens served with creamy Parmesan risotto.

Xiaxue and Shiberty will also be incorporating a surprise ingredient by Clessidra to add an additional dash of flavour to their delectable bites. Shiberty plans on taking a step further, swapping the risotto for fusilli instead.

Simply register here for a chance to be one of the 30 guests to party it up with Xiaxue and Shiberty.  Sign-ups are open to all and spaces are limited, so do register as soon as possible.

Guests will have a special role — to judge the two dishes and determine the ultimate winner. Selected guests will be notified via email or Whatsapp by 13 November 2019. Plus, 4 of the lucky guests will be invited to cook with Xiaxue and Shiberty as their assistants.

Each guest will receive a 1-for-1 cooking station rental voucher worth $48, and also stand a chance to take home a Smeg slow juicer worth $1,288. If you’re unable to be there in person, fret not. The cook-off will be aired live on OUE Social Kitchen’s Instagram and Facebook platforms.

Moreover, you can also try your hand at whipping up the dishes by Xiaxue and Shiberty.
