Learn Some Italian Phrases or Find a Hack

Although, Italians are polite people but learning some of the Italian phrases like “Ciao,” “Grazie,” and “Non-Capisco” would be a nice gesture. However, if you want to be on the safe side and don’t want to face even a minor inconvenience, then it is better to download a translating app or go on translate Italian to English website.

No Tipping at Restaurants

A good thing about visiting Italy is that you don’t have to give a tip in restaurants as the waiters are mostly given a fair salary. Having said that, the bill you get is usually comprised of an additional amount called coperto, which is the per person charge for sitting at the table. If you think that a restaurant has provided you with an exceptional service then you can offer a tip, but it should be around 1 to 5 euros and not more than that.

Don’t Forget to Buy Italian Pottery
